Privacy Policy

Internal note (remove before public launch): This document is a starting template and has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before launching FlightFlo to the public, this should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel.

What we collect

  • Email address and name (provided at sign-up).
  • Optional profile info: home airport, preferred airlines.
  • Monitored trip data: flight numbers and dates you ask us to track.
  • Authentication data managed by our backend infrastructure.
  • Notification preferences and (if you opt in) push subscription tokens.
  • Basic usage analytics about how you interact with the app.

How we use it

To operate the service, send you the notifications you've requested, and improve the product. We do not sell user data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Third parties

  • Backend & data storage: Lovable Cloud (managed Supabase).
  • Map rendering: OpenStreetMap-based tile providers (e.g. CartoDB).
  • Email delivery: a transactional email provider (Resend or equivalent).
  • Analytics: PostHog (anonymized, no PII).
  • Flight data: when integrated, flight number and date queries are sent to FlightAware AeroAPI to fetch live flight status.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and a small number of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can opt out of analytics anytime from the cookie banner. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention

Active accounts: data is retained while your account exists. Deleted accounts: purged within 30 days. Past trip data: retained for up to 12 months for product analytics.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data at any time. Email privacy@flightflo.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children

FlightFlo is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International users

Data is stored and processed in the United States. By using FlightFlo, you consent to this processing.
